Ellingers Agatized Wood Inc. started making wood bowls and trays in 1950, after the original owners Walt and Hubert Ellinger saw wood dishware being manufactured while on a trip to Germany. The concept is to use wood with compression molding to make bowls of all shapes and sizes. The result is durable, waterproof wood bowls and tableware. All products are maintenance free, dishwasher safe, and hot or cold foods may be served in them.
